Philodendron Verrucosum (Actual Plant)

Very Iridescent, This climbing philodendron features large heart-shaped leaves which begin pale and darken with age, juvenile leaves feature a maroon tiger pattern on the underside. The stems reach 8 to 10 inches in length at maturity. This variety does require more care and fertilizer than most others and can greatly benefit from the introduction of a moss wrapped totem. These are very healthy, climbing tropical plants with well established root systems. Though Verrucosum is actually a climbing variety it can maintain its bushy form by simply trimming it back once or twice per year.
